Born in London on 30th September 1939, at the beginning of World War II, Paterson spent his formative years living the suffering and hardships of war. The endowed artist's zest for life around him is reflective in his passion for artistic expression. He remembers as a young boy sketching in detail, dogfights in the city over London. Aircraft barreling to earth and there were some pilots parachuting to safety. He also derives tremendous inspiration from the landscape that surrounds him.

 

Paterson's extraordinary versitility gives his work broad appeal. His works can be seen internationally in the collections of prestigious buyers and collectors alike. He has received awards and accolades, including gold and bronze medals.
